True Meaning of the Indian National Flag (Tiranga) – Ronak Sawant

The National Flag of India is a horizontal tricolour with Saffron at the top, White in the middle and the Chakra (Wheel) with 24 spokes in Navy Blue in its centre and Green at the bottom. It stands proudly on the ground and flies freely in the sky, symbolising India's sovereignty (independence) and unity. Everyone knows this, right? Now let's get to something that no one knows or is unknown. Let me explain the true meaning of our Indian National Flag with deep gratitude and great pride.

Ronak Sawant explains the True Meaning of the Indian National Flag (Tiranga)

Our honourable Indian National Flag is colloquially and patriotically called the Tiranga. Tiranga means tricoloured or three colours. Tiranga represents the Tridevi.

The Tridevi means the three Goddesses, a trinity of supreme feminine divinity and consorts of the Trimurti.

The Trimurti (a trinity of supreme masculine divinity) are the three Guna Avataras or qualitative natural style incarnations of Bhagavan (God) Shri Krishna.

As I stated above that the Tiranga represents the Tridevi, so the three colours of our Tiranga or National Flag represents each Devi/Mata (Goddess/Mother) from the Tridevi:

  • Saffron represents Lakshmi
  • White represents Saraswati
  • Green represents Parvati

Such is the beauty of our Indian National Flag or Tiranga that represents the Tridevi or three Goddesses and celebrates the Shakti (Divine Feminine Power or Consorts of the Trimurti). The Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of God Vishnu, Goddess Saraswati is the consort of God Brahma, and Goddess Parvati is the consort of God Shiva.

Without the love and blessings of the Goddess, even God is incomplete. Not only this, but without the consort of God, nothing is complete.

As our Tiranga is the representation of the Tridevi, thus it truly depicts Mother Nature also. To put it in another way, if there is any flag in the world that Mother Nature innately (naturally) displays every day, it is the flag of Bharat (India).

Besides the above representation, there is also a signification of the above three colours. Saffron signifies courage, sacrifice and patriotism. White signifies truth in our words & actions, purity in our thoughts and peace in the nation. Green signifies prosperity, fertility and growth.

In addition to the above three colour bands in equal proportions, our Flag has an important Chakra (Wheel) in Navy Blue at its centre, known as the Dharma Chakra. The navy blue colour of the Dharma Chakra represents Bhoomi or Dharti Mata (Mother Earth). The 24 spokes of the Dharma Chakra symbolise the 24 hours of the day. The Chakra, as a whole, signifies there is life in movement and death in stagnation.

The Dharma Chakra, along with the Tricolour, in general, our National Flag or Tiranga, symbolises the duty or virtue of every citizen of our beloved country Bharat (India). The righteous duty to safeguard our country from Adharma (that which is not in accord with Dharma, i.e., that which is against our Bharat) and to live life & work for its progress by being true (loyal) to our motherland.

If any person has this fallacy or misconception that the three colours of our Flag represent the various communities or "religions" per se, that person is a Murkh (idiot).

And if any person or community still tries to claim a particular colour, then one must never forget this:

Bharat is the oldest living continuous civilisation on Earth, so all the colours belong to us.

Indian National Flag (Tiranga)
Every true Bharatiya (Indian) and human should wear Saffron, White, Green and Navy Blue with deep gratitude and great pride.

Bharat Mata Ki Jai!

Vande Mataram!

Anmol Zindagi by Ronak Sawant

Reading the above title, one thing you would notice or maybe even question is: why the odd number 15? There's a reason, can you guess? It's simple. Well, the number 15 because my book Anmol Zindagi was published on 15 August of this lovely year 2021. Hence, this article unfolds 15 inspiring quotes from the book Anmol Zindagi, penned by yours truly.

Before I share the 15 inspirational lines from my debut book, Anmol Zindagi, I would like to share one inspiring moment related to the book, the one that touched me the most so far. It is a beautiful moment that I will remember whenever I talk about my book. And I realise that I have not shared this moment with anyone yet, so I thought adding it as a part of this blog post would be the right way to share it with the world. That's one precious moment for me. This sweet moment also has a name. Yes, it is that special! It's called "Anmol Zindagi ka Anmol Pal" (A Precious Moment of a Precious Life).

Anmol Zindagi ka Anmol Pal

So my friend's (Jivak da's) dad (Shri. Davare ji), who is 81 years old, read my book in just one sitting in almost 3 hours. At that age, reading about 150 pages in one go is an inspiration in itself. When Jivak da sent me the following photo of his dad reading my book, I just paused and kept looking at the beautiful picture with a big smile. I remember telling him that 'Yeh bohat anmol hai!' as this Anmol Pal had made my day.

My Friend Jivak's Dad (81 year old reading my book)

Not only this, but when Shri. Davare ji finished reading the book, you know, he just started singing out loud with joy. The evergreen Hindi Song 'Jaane Kahan Gaye Woh Din' is a song he sang. This beautiful moment was captured by his son and my friend Jivak da. Here's the clip for you; enjoy it.

It's heart-touching, right? I was so happy to see them both smiling and singing together. I had goosebumps watching it. I am delighted that my book became a medium of this beautiful (father & son) Mehfil in which they relished this Anmol moment of Zindagi together. I had a good time connecting with Jivak da's dad over the phone, taking blessings from him and wishing them both good health and happiness.

It's moments like these, you know, that make it all worth it and motivate you to keep doing more of what you love.

The one big lesson to learn from this Anmol Pal is to stay active in life, no matter what age.

You can restart your life - Ronak Sawant

In life, whatever you have become and wherever you are right now is all because of you and the choices you have made. Sometimes you are at the top of life, while sometimes you go through a downfall. Such downfall is often called the rock bottom of life. The rock bottom is that worst phase in life that makes our life hard to live. It occurs when we least expect and hits so hard that it ends up costing people’s life.

You go through the worst relationship in life. You feel cheated, foolish, helpless, hurt, and above all heartbroken. That one person who meant everything to you and for whom you did so much in life breaks your heart and makes your life miserable for you to live.

You fail in an exam. You think that society will not accept a person like you. You become a failure. You start thinking of yourself as waste and believe that life is over for you now.

You dream to achieve something in life. You plan, work hard for it, and you don’t get it. You try and try. Still, nothing works. You tag yourself as a loser and start thinking that you can’t achieve anything in life. You believe that life is not intended for you.

The obvious thought that runs in mind, in the end, thinking all this is to quit life. Many people have given up their lives because of all this; it’s a fact! My friend, if you’re going through such circumstances in your life, know that ending life is never a solution. Suicide is never a solution. Your life is precious. Your life is gifted to you to live, not to quit.

If you think your life is over, always remember,
You can restart your life.
You can heal your life.
You can fix your life.
You can change your life.

The power is within you. You are a fighter. You can turn negatives into positives. You can get your life back on track. You can make your life better. You can build the life you want to live. We all go through the ups and downs in life. You are not alone. Life is more than a downfall. One or 100 such rock bottoms may shake and break your whole life, but it can’t take life off from you. You are more powerful than the rock bottom that you are going through in life. You can control your life and rise above from it. All you have to do is work very hard to get back to where you once were, but it is possible with hard and smart work. Many people have done this. One such person is the little boy whose blog you are reading, Ronak Sawant.

So forget all the bad things that have happened in life and give your life another chance. You deserve a better life. Don’t give up! It’s easy to quit, but it takes courage to make a decision and change your life. Also, it takes determination to live by that decision.

Remember, there’s no restart button in life. But the beauty you don’t believe is you can restart your life at any moment. All it takes is opening the life’s door for yourself. You can do it. Life is never over; you can always restart your life and make it beautiful. The choice is yours. Always choose to live. Choose life, not death. Period.

"Never quit. Always fight."

Life is a blessing. I am grateful for everything. - Ronak Sawant

A boy after coming home from the office finished his dinner and went out with friends on a bike to have a cup of ice-cream. Suddenly his right leg’s foot got stuck in a tire while he was sitting as a pillion behind. He lost his foot, which is one of the essential parts of the human body. Now he is hardly able to walk the same again. A girl very much excited for her job interview and the career ahead, the truck hit her while she was crossing the road towards her job location. Unfortunately, she died on the street after flying some meters away. A family relishing the holidays having a great time of their lives travelling together after a very long time, their happiness turned into the tears of massive fear when the bus they were going by fall deep into the river. The whole family lost their lives.

These all incidents may sound like a story of a sad movie, don't they? But these are all real-life stories which have happened in real. All these incidents occurred in a moment. Death is indeed a sudden arrival. Few seconds and you lose a life. Life is so unpredictable that you will never know what is going to happen in your life in a moment. For one moment you are happy, excited and alive and the next moment you die. Sadly, this is how life is sometimes. And, this is how it goes.

I am writing this post because this is all coming from my heart and soul. I want to say thank you for this life and for everything that I have.

Life is such a blessing.
I am grateful for each moment of my life.
I am grateful that I am writing this blog and sharing with you.
I am grateful for the great family that life has blessed me.
I am grateful for all my friends and all the people I have met and will meet in my life.
I am grateful for the food I eat, the clothes I wear, the home I live in and the bed on which I sleep.
I am so grateful for everything in my life.

At this moment, life is beautiful. Life is perfect for me right now. I am happy. I am at peace. Thank you, universe!

Appreciate your life, forgive people for their mistakes, be kind, say those three golden words, spend time with your loved ones, hug them, tell them how special they are because you never know when that next moment comes.

"In life, we only know the date we were born, not the day we will die. Let’s live life before we die."

Dreams are possible. Keep going! - Ronak Sawant

We all have some dreams in life.
We all have some ambitions and aspirations in life.
We all have a goal in life.
And, we all want to become something in life.

This journey of stepping the first step and then reaching towards the dream, ambition or goal is not easy. It is not like a walk in the park. It is going to be the most challenging walk ever. It will be the toughest journey of life. There will be a pain, struggle, hard work, rejection, tears, and sacrifice, all in a tremendous amount. You will have a heartbreak, and at times you will be broke. You will be down physically, mentally and emotionally. You will be angry. You will be jealous. The people who were close to you will leave you, even your friends. You will hear people talking shit about you. You will feel alone. And then, there will be a time in life when you will feel like giving up on yourself. You will feel like stopping this all or even quitting this life.

But trust me my friend, along with all these things there will be something called happiness and satisfaction. Every step that you take towards your dream will make it count and make you feel alive. God will always be there with you throughout the journey. Guiding you and providing endless opportunities for you. You only have to stay strong, have faith and belief in yourself. Keep doing your work and leave the rest to the God.

Also, there will be some people who will like you and support you. These are the special people whom you should keep closer in your life for the ones being present during your struggle should be present during your happy times. This journey will be all worth in the end. Because when you reach towards the destination (dream), you will have the brightest smile on your face, you will be happy and satisfied, you will have your moments, you will have memories, you will have the time of your life and you will have tears too but this time full of joy.

So, don’t be afraid to tell the world why and for what you are living. Don’t be scared to tell people about your dreams. They may call you crazy, but crazy people are the ones who change and rule the world!

You are unique and special in own way. Trust your dreams and stay strong.

"Dreams are possible. Keep going!"
