"Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ore Tiranga" - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

"Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ore Tiranga"

Har ghar Tiranga, Har ore Tiranga

Har dil mein Tiranga, Har mann mein Tiranga

Har saans mein Tiranga, Khoon ki har boond mein Tiranga

Humari jaan hai Tiranga, Humari shaan hai Tiranga

Humari pehchaan hai Tiranga, Humara abhimaan hai Tiranga

Sab rang hai sundar lekin anokha hai humara Tiranga

Jidhar dekhoge garv se lehrata nazar aaega Tiranga

Har ghar Tiranga, Har ore Tiranga

English Translation:

"Tricolour in Every Home, Tricolour Everywhere"

Tricolour in every home, Tricolour everywhere

Tricolour in every heart, Tricolour in every mind

Tricolour in every breath, Tricolour in every drop of blood

Tricolour is our life; Tricolour is our glory/feeling

Tricolour is our identity; Tricolour is our pride

All colours are beautiful, but our Tricolour is unique

Wherever you look, the Tricolour will be seen waving proudly

Tricolour in every home, Tricolour everywhere

Note:- Tiranga, which means "three colours" or "tricoloured," is the common/colloquial name for the Indian National Flag. The National Flag of India is a horizontal tricolour (Tiranga) with Saffron at the top, White in the middle and the Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke wheel in Navy Blue in its centre and Green at the bottom.

  • Saffron signifies Courage, Sacrifice and Patriotism.
  • White signifies Truth in words and actions, Purity in our thoughts and Peace of the nation.
  • Green signifies Prosperity, Fertility and Growth.
  • The Ashoka Chakra symbolizes the Power of the State governed by Dharma.
